1. Who is behind Atlas Live

Atlas Live is an educational and information platform from Fix Your Mind®, a registered trademark. This policy applies to the service at atlaslive.world.

2. What data we use and why

• Google account: if you choose this sign-in method, Google provides our authentication service, Supabase, with your identifier, email, name and, when available, profile image. Atlas Live uses this data to identify you, maintain your session and associate your progress. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts or calendar.
• Progress: saved places, expeditions, stamps and dates, challenge or quiz answers and results, XP, achievements and notes or reflections you choose to write. They support your passport and continuity between activities; they are not a record of physical travel.
• Preferences: language, audio and exploration settings, to remember how you want to use the platform.
• Technical data: IP address, browser information, dates, requested paths and errors may be processed by hosting and authentication services to deliver the site, protect accounts and diagnose failures.
• Support: when you contact us, we use your email and message to respond. Avoid including passwords or sensitive information in messages and notes.

Registration is optional. Without the data required for authentication we cannot provide a personal account; public exploration remains available. Email and password sign-in is offered only when enabled and is then processed through Supabase.

3. Local progress and account syncing

Preferences and a copy of progress are stored in your browser. Guest progress is preserved and may be imported into the first account you use in that browser; subsequent accounts keep separate copies.

When account syncing is enabled, Atlas Live sends account progress to Supabase so you can retrieve it on another device. “My account” indicates whether syncing is available. Signing in alone does not guarantee that progress has been synced.

Local data remains until you remove it through the browser or the browser stops retaining it. Signing out does not remove those copies. Storage for one web address does not automatically move to another domain.

4. Location and external requests

We request device location only when you use an option that needs it and grant permission. Language suggestions are calculated in your browser. For weather in your area, coordinates are rounded to one decimal degree and sent to our server and the relevant weather source. We do not start continuous tracking of your movements.

Temporary location is kept in memory; places you deliberately save may become part of your passport. You can deny or revoke location permission in your browser and continue searching for destinations manually.

5. Providers and recipients

• Netlify: hosts Atlas Live and runs its web services, processing requests and necessary technical data.
• Supabase: manages authentication and, when enabled, the progress database. Infrastructure may process data outside your country, including the United States region used by this project.
• Google: provides account sign-in. The site also uses Google Fonts for typography, which may send your IP address and request data to Google when fonts load.
• Wikimedia: some place descriptions query Wikipedia or Wikidata from your browser. Their servers receive the request and technical connection data.
• Open-Meteo and MET Norway: receive requested coordinates from our server to provide weather information.
• ElevenLabs: if online narration is enabled, it receives the text to narrate, language and selected voice. The narration code does not send your email, profile, password or progress. Device voices also depend on your browser and operating system.

These providers may operate in different countries and have their own terms and policies. We do not sell Google data or use it for personalized advertising. Data is shared only as necessary for the described features, security, handling your requests or meeting applicable legal obligations. Authorized personnel may access the information needed for those tasks.

6. Cookies and browser storage

We use first-party authentication and security cookies to maintain sessions and protect sign-in, and local storage for your passport and preferences. Account cookies use HTTPS; some may last up to 30 days and be renewed when you use your session.

The current version has no advertising cookies or advertising tracking tools. You can manage cookies and storage in your browser. Blocking them may prevent sign-in or saving progress; removing site data may erase a local passport that has not been synced.

7. Retention and security

We retain account and progress data while needed to provide the service or meet applicable obligations. You can request deletion. Providers’ technical logs and backups may have their own retention cycles and may not disappear immediately; legal or security exceptions are limited to what is necessary.

The platform uses HTTPS, session checks and per-user access controls for stored progress. No system guarantees absolute security. Contact support if you notice unauthorized access.

8. Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction, updating or deletion of your data and account by writing to soporte@fixyourmind.net, preferably from the linked email address. Tell us what you want to do; we will verify your identity proportionately before acting. Do not send your password.

Account deletion is requested by email: there is currently no automatic deletion button. You can also revoke Atlas Live’s connection in your Google account. Revoking it or signing out does not itself delete data already saved in Atlas or browser copies.

We will handle the rights you have under applicable rules. In Argentina, you can learn about your rights and contact the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP). You can read Law 25,326.

9. Minors and updates

If you are a minor, use account features with the guidance and authorization of your parent or guardian as applicable. If you believe a minor’s data was provided without necessary authorization, contact soporte@fixyourmind.net to review its deletion.

We will update this page and its date when features or data processing change. If a change requires new information or consent, we will request it before using your data for that new purpose.
